Pogaku Harini, 24, lived in a hostel in Raidurgam and had been working for an IT firm for the last two years as a junior software developer.
According to the police, she had been upset since she was informed that she was on the shortlist of people who would be laid off. She had been served retrenchment notice and told that November 30 would be her last working day.
Shattered by the news, she reportedly spoke to her brother.
“After receiving information, we reached the spot and found a note in her diary, which said that her organs should be donated,” a police officer at Raidurgam said.
